Contact

Living Tensor (Pty) Ltd is a software engineering consultancy. Ulvi Guliyev is the head of the company and Information Officer.

Email info@livingtensor.com for access requests and assistance.

The Information Regulator's PAIA guide explains access rights, assistance, fees and remedies.

Records

Website content, privacy information and blank request forms are freely available. Other record categories include:

  • Company registration, constitutional documents, statutory registers and resolutions.
  • Accounting, banking, tax and supplier records.
  • Enquiries and, where created, client agreements, technical material and deliverables.
  • Privacy, access-request and security records.

Record-keeping legislation includes the Companies Act 71 of 2008, Income Tax Act 58 of 1962, Tax Administration Act 28 of 2011, Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and PAIA. Access depends on the record's existence and PAIA's protections for privacy, commercial confidentiality and legal privilege.

Personal information

Records may contain contact, identification, contractual, payment and technical information concerning clients, prospective clients, suppliers, advisers, directors, shareholders and information requesters. Processing supports consulting services, business administration, statutory filings and the handling of requests. Information in client systems is processed according to the engagement and the client's instructions.

Recipients include authorised people handling the work; hosting, security, email, storage and financial-service providers; advisers; and relevant authorities. The privacy notice describes international processing, retention and safeguards.

Requesting access

Email PAIA Form 2 to info@livingtensor.com. Identify the record, the right to be exercised or protected, why the record is needed and the preferred form of access. Include the identity or authority evidence required by the form. Assistance is available from the Information Officer.

A decision is normally due within 30 days of receiving the request. PAIA allows a further 30 days in specified circumstances, with notice and reasons. Prescribed fees or a deposit may apply, subject to exemptions. The amount and its basis must be communicated before payment.

  • Form 2 — Request for access (PDF)
  • Form 3 — Outcome and fees (PDF)

A refusal must explain the available remedies. There is no internal PAIA appeal for a private body. A complaint can generally be made to the Information Regulator within 180 days of the decision or the expiry of the response period. The Regulator's PAIA guidance explains the complaint procedure. PAIA also provides a court remedy.

Complaints may be submitted to the Information Regulator: enquiries@inforegulator.org.za or +27 10 023 5200.
